Common questions about renting robots

What does it cost to rent a service robot?
It depends on the robot, how long you need it, and where the job is. We quote each rental and confirm the number before you commit. There is no single sticker price because the right number depends on the work. Buying the same robot outright typically runs $4–50k, plus maintenance — renting keeps the cost predictable and the downtime risk on us.
What is included in a robot rental?
Every rental covers the robot on site and configured, delivery and setup, a team walkthrough, ongoing maintenance and repairs, a backup unit if yours goes down, and nationwide support. You run the work; we keep the robot field-ready.
Is it better to rent or buy a commercial robot?
Renting is better when you want the work done without owning the downtime risk. Buying ties up $4–50k per machine and makes maintenance your problem. Renting gives you a serviced, backed-up robot for a predictable cost, and you can scale up or hand it back as the work changes. If buying is genuinely the better fit for your situation, we will tell you.
How does deployment work?
We deliver the robot to your site, set it up, and walk your team through running it, so it works on day one. For robots that navigate a space, we handle the on-site configuration. There is nothing to install or buy first.
What happens if the robot breaks down?
A broken robot is our problem, not your downtime. Service, repairs, and parts are part of every rental, and we keep backup units. If a unit goes down mid-job, we swap it and you keep working.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. You can rent per job. Monthly rentals run month to month unless you want a longer term for a better rate.
Which robot do I need for my job?
Tell us the work. Warehouses and 3PL usually want autonomous mobile robots, cleaning robots, or inspection crawlers; hospitals and hotels want delivery and cleaning robots; inspection trades, builders, and law enforcement want the Crawlspace Inspection Robot. We match the robot to the job and quote it.
