Service Robot Co. (legal name XEngineering, LLC, doing business as Service Robot Co.) operates servicerobotco.com. This policy covers what happens to your information when you visit the site, request a quote, or contact us.
What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us:
- Name, email, phone number, company name
- What you tell us about your job - robot type, site, timeline
When you browse the site:
- Standard analytics data - pages viewed, general location, device type
- No payment information. We don't take payments on the site.
We collect information to respond to you and understand how our website is used.
Optional behavior analytics
When enabled and with your permission, PostHog helps us understand visits, clicks, scrolling, and navigation on our public website. This includes heatmaps and masked session recordings. Form fields and form contents are excluded, and text is masked in recordings. We do not use this tracking on our internal portal or signing pages.
You can decline this optional tracking and still use the website. Use the Analytics preferences button to change your choice at any time. We remember your choice in your browser. If you allow tracking, PostHog also uses browser storage to distinguish visits. Our existing basic Vercel traffic analytics are separate from this optional behavior tracking.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request and follow up
- To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site
- To send you information about your job - never unrelated marketing without your OK
We do not sell your information. Ever.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run the site and respond to leads (hosting, email, scheduling) - bound to use your data only to provide that service.
- Robot manufacturers, only when needed to deploy and service the specific robot you're renting or buying.
- Law enforcement, only if legally required.
We do not share your information for anyone else's marketing.
Your choices
- Ask us what we have on you, or ask us to delete it - email team@servicerobotco.com.
- Opt out of any email at any time using the unsubscribe link.
- Turn off cookies in your browser - the site still works, quotes just take a little longer to prefill.
